Have been coming here for 40 yrs. My dad brought me here as a child that made lasting memories. Still enjoy stopping by and having a couple hot dogs and a shake. Lifetime customer I suppose.
Very wholesome old fashioned hot dog place. Good topping options and lots of sides to choose from. Lots of combos as well. The buns are very soft and don't hold up too well but the hot dog was a classic (with onions mustard & sauerkraut!) The clam chowder was good, perfect for a cool night but the baked beans were super dry and there was no flavor. Loved the experience but probably would choose another place for a quick bite. Thanks!
I travel from Georgia to Holyoke every few years. The most important stop made is Nick's Today, three dogs and beans. Super friendly service. Hope it's around for my grandkids to travel and eat.
Food is good, I got 2 hot dogs with ketchup, mustard, chili, and onions. My mouth was very happy. The service was good she was very friendly and smiling . Plenty of little stools line up in front of a couple of large windows. The place has that classic old hot dog joint feel. Good vibes for chowing down dogs or getting it on the go for a quick stop. I recommend stopping by.
This is my husband’s favorite Hot Dog place! He has been coming here for over 50 years! We were recently home after 1 1/2 year away and he couldn’t wait to stop in. Originally, this was just a hot dog stand.. but now you can get a bit more items like Mac and cheese, soup... the classic is Hot Dog with relish, mustard and onions. They are very good hot dogs!!!
I recently visited Nick’s Nest in Holyoke and had an awesome experience. I tried two hot dogs—one chili cheese dog and a loaded potato dog—along with their deep fried pickles. The food was delicious, and the whole place had a great, welcoming energy. The hot dogs were perfectly prepared, with generous toppings that hit the spot. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for tasty, casual eats!
Had a couple of bacon cheese dogs with a friend from work yesterday and they were delicious...My parents used to take us to Nick's as kids & haven't been there since! After so many years, everything was just as I remembered it as a child. Will definitely be back soon!
Cute place to grab a hotdog and soft serve! There mini icecream cakes are the best!
